Senior Recital 2008 - Rock Hal Auditorium - Temple University
Anthony (Tony) B. Deininger is currently in his fourth year of teaching after graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from Temple University in 2008.  Upon graduation, Tony returned to his Alma Mater Reading High School and served as the Director of Bands for the 2008-2009 school year.  He then joined the Governor Mifflin faculty in 2009 where his current duties include marching band, concert band, and jazz band, as well as co-teaching a humanities class and teaching music theory.  Tony has studied trombone with Eric Wagner, Paul Bryan, Matthew Vaughn, Nitzan Haroz, Eric Carlson, and Luis Bonilla.  As a performer, Tony has played with Nitzan Haroz, Matthew Vaughn, Paul Bryan, Shachar Israel, Tyrone Breuninger, Sarah Chang, Terell Stafford, John Faddis, Frank Wess, Carla Cook, Dana Hall, Bruce Barth, and Derek Hodge to name a few.  He has also performed under the direction of Anthony Maiello, Dr. Steven Peterson, Dr. Timothy Oliver, Arthur Choderoff, Dr. Jack Stamp, Dr. Stephen Gage, and Terell Stafford.  Locally, Tony performs frequently with the Ringgold Band. Currently, Tony is pursing a Master’s of Music in Music Education with a Music Technology Option at West Chester University.  Anthony currently is a member of the International Trombone Association, Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, the Music Educators National Conference, and Ti:ME.  Tony currently resides in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Mandy, and daughter, Morgan.
